Rare opportunity for a creative knitter to acquire a complete Knitmaster electronic knitting machine set up including a motor drive.
Knitmaster was the previous name of the Silver Reed machines made today so many parts remain interchangeable and available. The 580 was the last electronic machine produced under the Knitmaster name. It is an extremely versatile machine.
The standard pattern width is up to 21 stitches wide using preprinted sheets or user created patterns on Mylar sheets. Utilising the PE1 controller non repeating patterns up to 200 stitches wide and up to 1000 rows long can be created and stored on the memory card.
I acquired this 580 machine, SRP60N ribber and PE1 about 10 years ago and the additional major accessories over the years. It has been in regular use and has served me very well. Changing circumstances mean I no longer have the opportunity to use it and I need the space it takes up. I have double checked everything is present and in good condition. The knitter sponge (and metal) bar has recently been replaced.

Lace carriage - not tried out.
New, complete sponge bar recently fitted.
All items apart from motor drive and table boxed and ready to go; heavy and bulky items, table requires two people.
Bundle of Knitmaster vintage pattern magazines if wanted.
